You can still choose among attached, detached, and studio types but it’ll have a second floor. Moving forward, you can decide if you will adapt the design of the main house or you’ll go with a different style for your granny flats.

Whether it’s one or two-storey, you can still add a garage in your granny flat. If you want to have additional space and a garage, this is the one for you!
Normally, a granny flat with a garage is registered as a non-habitable area so you won’t have to secure papers for it, and your land will be safe.
